Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to resurvey the land and subdivide the land in Survey No.342/12, situated at P.Kurumbapatti, Palayakottai Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District and issue fresh patta pursuant to the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.11.2015. Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for re-survey, sub-divide and issue fresh patta in respect of the land in Survey No.342/12 situated at P.Kurumbapatti, Palayakottai Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District.

4. It is seen that the petitioner had already made a representation seeking such relief. Therefore, it is for the second respondent to consider the request of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits. Needless to say that if any fee is payable for such purpose, the same shall be paid by the petitioner before the second respondent.

Accordingly, the second respondent is directed to consider the request of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
