Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the Respondents No. 2

and 3 to survey and demarcate petitioner's landed properties in Survey No. 225/2A1, 225/2C1, and 46/2A, to a total extent of 1 Acre 17 cents, situated at Kommatikottai Village, Sathankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, on the basis of petitioner's representation, dated 12.02.2025, after giving necessary opportunity to the parties concerned.

ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to survey the property situated in Survey No.225/2A1, 225/2C1, and 46/2A, with an extent of 1 Acre 17 cents, at Kommatikottai Village, Sathankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, by considering her representation, dated 12.02.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, the above subject property is her ancestral property and patta for the said property stands in her name and other family members in Patta Nos.1730 and 1728. She submitted an online

application before the respondents for survey of the property on 06.02.2024 in Application No.2024/0123/28/000373. The same has not been considered. Hence, she has come before this Court.

3. Additional Government Pleader, appearing for respondents 1 to 3, would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

4. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, respondents 2 and 3 are directed to consider the online application of the petitioner, dated 06.02.2024, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to petitioner, co-pattadars, neighbouring land owners, and other interested parties.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. 07.07.2025 NCC :
