Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the impugned order in C.No.F1/6131/2014 on 27.02.2014 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondent to reinstate me in service, in the light of the judgment of the Honble Apex Court reported in (2015) 7 SCC 291 and letter No.13519/N/2015-1 dated 23.07.2015 issued by the P & AR (N) Department Govt. of Tamil Nadu. JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) On 18.02.2021, when the matter was listed under the caption 'for orders', there was no representation on behalf of the appellant and hence, the writ appeal was directed to be listed under the caption 'for dismissal' on 19.02.2021.

2. Even though the appeal is listed today (19.02.2021) under the caption 'for dismissal', neither the appellant nor the learned counsel for the appellant is present to prosecute the appeal. Hence, the writ appeal stands dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
