[Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard Ms.J.Anandhavalli, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, Mr.M.Murugan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.C.Karthick, learned counsel appearing for the fifth respondent.

2.By consent on either side, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing.

3.This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to pass orders in the Appeal filed by the petitioners as against the rejection of their claim for issuance of Community Certificates stating that they belongs to Schedule Caste Community. 4.Earlier, the first petitioner has approached this Court stating that the first petitioner should be permitted to sit for the examination, however, by that time the practical examination has already commenced and hence, she was not permitted to write the examination.

5.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the enquiry conducted by the Tashildar, Vilavancode has been completed and the report will be submitted to the District Collector, Kanyakumari District and within a couple of weeks, the District Collector will pass appropriate orders. 6.This submission is placed on record and the first respondent District Collector, Kanyakumari District is directed to pass orders on the appeal filed by the petitioners as expeditiously as possible and in any event within three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
