PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned suspension order dated 16-102020 passed by the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service.

ORDER

By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.Though the writ petition is filed for a larger relief seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order of suspension, dated 16.10.2020 passed by the 2nd respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner in the course of his argument, restricted the relief https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.18754 of 2020 for issuing a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's appeal, dated 21.10.2020. 3.In reply, Mr.R.Murugaraj, learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent would fairly submit that the petitioner's appeal, dated 21.10.2020, would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- the 1st respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's appeal, dated 21.10.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order;

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
