Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records connected with the detention order of the respondent No.2 in M.H.S.Confdl.No.122/2021 dated 24.08.2021 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu by name Mookkandi, son of Lakshmanathevar, aged about 44 years, now detained in Palayamkottai Central Prison before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

Today when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that as per G.O.Rt.No.5767, Home, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
H.C.P.(MD) No.1476 of 2021 Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 26.11.2021, the detention order has been revoked.
2. In view of the same, nothing survives in this Habeas Corpus Petition and therefore this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
