This petition has been filed to quash the summon in Ku.Va. No.A1/20(7580)/2017, dated 30.10.2017 issued by 2nd respondent. 2.Heard both sides.

3.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that the petitioner filed this petition to challenge the show cause notice issued against him under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. The said notice was issued in the month of October, 2017. The period for the proceedings under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. is only for one year. Now, almost two years have been lapsed and hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner become infructuous.
