Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 10.07.2015 and 10.09.2015 to incorporate the petitioner's name instead of Jeyaseeli in the tax receipt pertaining to the shops bearing Door Nos.25/2, 25/3, 25/4, 25/5 and 25/6 at Ward No.7, Chinnaya Pillai Street, Manapparai.

Mr.J.Lawrence, learned counsel notice for the respondent.

2. By consent of parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representations, dated 10.07.2015 and 10.09.2015 wherein and whereby he sought for correcting the name found in the tax receipt pertaining to the shop bearing Door Nos.25/2, 25/3, 25/4, 25/5 and 25/6 at Ward No.7, Chinnaya Pillai Street, Manapparai, by incorporating the petitioner's name instead of the name of one Jeyaseeli.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent municipality submitted that the petitioner's representations will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.

5. Accordingly, I direct the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 10.07.2015 and 10.09.2015 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
