PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for the entire records pertaining to the case in Crime No.46 of 2017 on the file of the Inspector of Police, City Crime Branch, Trichy City and quash the same as against the petitioner.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.46 of 2017 on the file of the first respondent.

2.According to the case of the prosecution is that the first accused cheated to the tune of Rs.5,00,000/- from the defacto complainant and also also committed private offence. After publishing the name of the first accused in the newspaper, the petitioner/daughter, A2/wife of the defacto complainant threatened the defacto complainant with dire consequences and hence, A2 and A3 are arrayed as accused persons.

3.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that the petitioner herein, who is daughter of A1, is arrayed as third accused, totally there are three accused in the Crime. He https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.941 of 2018 would further submit that the first respondent completed entire investigation and also about to file a final report. Therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioner become infructuous. 4.Considering the above facts, this Court directs the first respondent to file a final report before the concerned Magistrate within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
