This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection to conduct Adal Padal programme on 05.09.2019 and 06.09.2019 at 07.00 P.M. to 11.00 P.M. in pursuant to the Avani Festival of Arulmigu Sri Santhana Mariamman Temple in North Ilanthaikulam Village, Kayathar Taluk, Thoothukudi District.

2. Heard both sides.

The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the Cultural Programme on 05.09.2019 and 06.09.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 10.08.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

W.P.(MD)No.18319 of 2019 without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.08.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
