JUDGMENT

(By G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) Heard the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the appellants. 2.The Management of TNSTC, Madurai has filed this Writ Appeal questioning the order dated 09.04.2025 allowing W.P(MD)No.10065 of 2025 filed by one S.Sheik Abdullah. The said writ petitioner retired as a conductor on 28.02.2025. The only prayer made by him is that his retirement benefits should be settled. The learned Judge had allowed the writ petition on 09.04.2025 in the following terms:

"7.Accordingly, this writ petition is allowed with the following directions:

(i).The respondents are directed to settle all the terminal benefits for which the petitioner is entitled and also release the pension to the petitioner forthwith.

(ii) The respondents are directed to pay 6% interest for the belated payment of provident fund, gratuity and terminal 2/4

leave salary from the date of his retirement till the date of actual payment to the petitioner. No costs."

3.According to us, the order passed by the learned single Judge is perfectly reasonable and justifiable. There is no merit in this Appeal. 4.This Writ Appeal stands dismissed.
