ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus to direct the third respondent to consider and forward the application and documents of the petitioner based on the representation of the petitioner dated 18.06.2025.

2. The petitioner has made an application for issuance of FL-2 licence in Form-F.A1.2 on 08.01.2025. The petitioner has also sent a representation on 25.01.2025, followed up by a reminder dated 18.06.2025 for issuance of FL-2 licence. However, the same has not been considered till date.

3. It is noticed that the Superintendent of Police has also given no objection for issuance of FL-2 licence to the petitioner in his proceedings dated 20.01.2025 bearing reference in e.f.vz; [p1/1107/02/2025.

4. Considering the same, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the aforesaid application dated 08.01.2025 in Form-F.A1.2 of the petitioner under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937, as

expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
