This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned tender notification, dated 28.05.2025 and directing the respondent herein to issue Re-tender Cum Auction notice with specific terms and condition by considering the petitioner's objection submitted through e-mail dated 29.06.2025.
2. The petitioner has challenged the impugned tender notification dated 28.05.2025 in respect of Serial No.4 for auctioning the rights for School and playground measuring an extent of 43,200 square feet near Tenkasi Bus stand.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no condition prescribed and therefore, there is a possibility of land being Page No. 2 of 5
used for other purpose though it was ear marked to school and playground.
4. A challenge to the impugned tender notification at the 11th hour cannot be countenanced. Since the land is earmarked for school and playground, the respondents shall ensure that after the evaluation of the technical and financial bids, agreements are signed and sale deeds are executed, the prospective bidders shall be put to such such terms to ensure that the land is only for school and playground and not for any other purpose.
