Respondents Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st Respondent to cancel the Registration Certificate in the name of the 2nd Respondent and transfer the ownership to the legal heirs in respect of the vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-55 AK-6666 and grant such other and further relief which this Honourable Court. ORDER:- This Petition coming on for hearing on this day under the caption 'Extension of time for 'Lower Court' and upon perusing earlier order dated 16.04.2024 and the requisition submitted by the District Munsif, Pudukkottai in D.No.93/2025 dated 28.02.2025 through Principal District Judge, Pudukkottai in D.No.1081/2025A, dated 07.03.2025 seeking further two months time to dispose of the case in O.S.No.126 of 2019, this Court made the following Order:
This Petition has been filed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" along with the report sent by the learned Principal District Judge, Pudukottai, in D.No.1081/2025/A, dated 07.03.2025.

It is seen from the records, while disposing the present writ petition, this Court by an order dated 16.04.2024, directed the trial Court to dispose of the petition in O.S.No.126 of 2019, within a period of six months. However, the learned District Munisf, Pudukottai, has sent a communication dated 28.02.2025, detailing the sequence of proceedings in O.S.No.126 of 2019 and sought further time for a period of two months time to dispose the said case.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is inclined to grant two months time to dispose the petition in O.S.No.126 of 2019, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
