Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to regularise the petitioners in the post of Assistant Professor in their respective departments with effect from the date of initial appointment with all the consequential monetary benefits in the light of final orders passed in WA.No.1163 of 2021 dated 01.04.2025 within a time period stipulated by this Court.

The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to regularise the petitioners in the post of Assistant Professor in their respective departments with effect from the date of initial appointment with all the consequential monetary benefits in the light of final orders passed in WA.No.1163 of 2021 dated 01.04.2025, within a time period stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that, although several grounds have been raised in the writ petition, it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 11.06.2025, in the light of the final orders passed in WA.No.1163 2/4
of 2021 dated 01.04.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Considering the limited prayer now sought by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 11.06.2025, by taking into account the orders passed in W.A.No. 1163 of 2021, dated 01.04.2025, on its own merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
