ORDER
This Petition has been filed to transfer the case in Crime No.1526 of 2020 pending on the file of the 4th respondent police to the 5th respondent CBCID to take the case or to monitor the investigation.
2. The case of the prosecution is that due to Civil dispute between the petitioner's family and Rajendran family, Rajendran https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
CRL OP(MD). No. 14886 of 2020 family members abused the petitioner and her husband in filthy language and also attacked them by iron rod and caused head injuries. Therefore, the petitioner gave a complaint before the fourth respondent and the same was registered in Crime No.1526 of 2020 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 355, 324, 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of TN probihibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2022 against Rajendran and 3 others.
3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) submitted that a major part of the investigation has been completed by the fourth respondent herein.
4. Since a major part of the investigation has been completed by the fourth respondent herein, the transfer of investigation is not possible at this stage. The 4th respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of 8 weeks from the date of copy of this order. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
