This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to permit the erection of the new Shri.Kamarajar statue over the pedestrian where the earlier statues were installed pursuant to the recommendations made by the Assistant Director of Panchayat, Dindigul District, through proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 2409/2018 Peru3, dated 07.08.2018.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents on instructions submitted that the renovation of the bus-stand at Chinnalapetti is going on and after completion of the same, the erection of the Kamarajar statue will be taken into consideration by the District Collector / second respondent. 2/4

3. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
