PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No 15 of 2024 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 03.07.2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 366A, 376(AB) I.P.C and 1/3

Section 4 of POCSO Act and 294(b) and 506(i) IPC, in crime No.15 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner gave false promise to marry the victim, who is aged about 10 years, had sexually harassed the victim. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 03.07.2024, hence he may be released on bail.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) would submit that the petitioner had sexually harassed the victim, who is aged about 10 years and studying 6th standard and the petitioner is aged about 21 years. The allegation against the petitioner is serious and the investigation is pending, hence, he strongly opposed to grant bail.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering 2/3

gravity of the offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Hence, this Petition is dismissed.
