ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 377, 342, 506(i)I.P.C, in Crime No.464 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is working as a Professor and Head of the Department in Government Arts and Science College, Kovilpatti, Tuticorin District. The petitioner demanded unnatural sex from the defacto complainant. Hence, the complaint.

3. On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the petitioner is innocent and has not committed any such offence, as alleged by the prosecution. This false complaint is lodged as a counter blast to his earlier complaint dated 03.08.2022 against the defacto complainant and others. Hence, prays to release him on anticipatory bail.

4. On the side of prosecution, it is stated that the petitioner demanded unnatural sex from the defacto complainant and prayed to dismiss the petition.

5.Considering the gravity of the offence and the overt act attributed against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to him.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
