Respondents PRAYER: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records connected with the rejection of petitioner's application for community certificate, dated 17.12.2015 on the file of the respondent No.2 and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the respondent No.2 to issue community certificate to the petitioner as "Hindu Pallan" within the time stipulated by this Court.

Writ Petition seems to have been numbered on mere information given by the petitioner that application, dated 10.12.2015, submitted to the Tahsildar, Ilayankudi Taluk, Sivagangai District, has been rejected on 17.12.2015. 2. Writ Petition is filed against the communication is misconceived. Writ Petition is dismissed. Liberty is given to the petitioner to challenge the rejection order, dated 17.12.2015, in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
