ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to get puli vari from the petitioner and to include petitioner in the forthcoming festival to be conducted
for Arulmighu Kottaiamman Temple, Keelakudiruppu, Devakottai Town, Sivagangai District between 27.08.2019 to 03.09.2019 by considering representation dated 13.8.2019 given by the writ petitioner. 2.Heard Mr.M.Dinesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anand,, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.With regard to the festival to be conducted at Arulmighu Kottaiamman Temple, Keelakudiruppu, Devakottai Town, Sivagangai District, the petitioner and three others have given a representation dated 13.08.2019 and the grievance appears to be that, in respect of the festival, some of the people like the petitioner and others have been sidelined and only the other group of people are permitted to conduct the festival and in this regard, a complaint seems to have been given and pursuant to which, earlier occasion also, at least, two times, peace committee meeting were conducted by the revenue officials, but, no amicable solution seems to have been reached. In this context, it is the grievance of the petitioner as of now is that, the 4th respondent has convened a peace committee meeting once again today, i.e. on 26.08.2019 at 1.00 a.m. and at least, in that meeting let the 4th respondent with the help of others, who participated in the meeting, take a cumulative and comprehensive decision to involve all stakeholders in the forthcoming festival of the temple.
4.Heard the learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, certainly, some amicable solutions would be arrived at in the meeting scheduled to be conducted to day and based on the decision to be taken in the meeting, the festival of the temple would be conducted and in this regard, during the meeting, the petitioner's grievance also would be taken care of.
5.Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate and taking into account the meeting as already been scheduled to be conducted by the 4th respondent, the petitioner's grievance certainly would be addressed therein. Therefore, no further orders need to be passed in this writ petition.
6.Hence, recording the said statement made on behalf of the learned Government Advocate and by taking note of the said peace committee meeting to be held on today, this Court is disposing of this writ petition with the aforesaid observation.
