ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representation, dated 23.10.2015 and to direct the second respondent to receive the house tax amount for petitioner's house situated at survey No.14/1A1 (Part-A) in D.No.6/11/17 at Chinnalapatti Athur Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents.

3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue involved, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.10.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, as expeditiously as possible. This order should not be construed as giving any positive direction to the respondent and the respondent passes orders, independently, depending on the facts and circumstances of the case.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
