ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners/A1 to A4, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2) and 351(2) of BNS, 2023, in Crime No.257 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for State of TN (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the offences are bailable in nature. Hence, he prayed to dismiss this petition.

3.This Court perused the materials available on records.
4.As per the FIR, the above said offences are bailable in nature and therefore, the question of granting anticipatory bail will not arise and it is not appropriate to consider the anticipatory bail application and the same is not maintainable.
5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioners to approach the concerned appropriate forum by filing appropriate petition in accordance with law.
