ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed complaining that the order of this Court dated 03.02.2022 passed in W.P.(MD)No.6543 of 2021 has not been complied with.

2. This Court, in W.P.(MD)No.6543 of 2021, by order dated 03.02.2022, has passed the following orders:

"4.In view of the limited relief sought for, this Court, without expressing anything on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, 2/5

after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that pursuant to the direction of this Court dated 03.02.2022, the petitioner's representation dated 03.10.2020 has been considered and the gratuity amount and provident fund amount have also been distributed to the petitioner and the same has also been communicated to the petitioner by letter dated 22.07.2023.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the interest for the belated payment has not been paid by the respondents and the Management's contribution has not been provided to the petitioner.

5. Considering the scope of the Contempt Petition, this Contempt Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner either to challenge the letter dated 22.07.2023 or to file a fresh writ petition claiming interest for the belated payment.
