ORDER
This petition is filed to direct the second respondent police to provide police protection to life and limb of the petitioner for the purpose of removing bushes and fencing his own land to an extent of 2 acres in Survey No.371/2, Kodvilarpatti Revenue Village, Theni Taluk, Theni District.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that when the petitioner along with his worker to visit his land for removal of Karuvela trees, at that time, the third respondent was prevented the petitioner from doing his work and criminally intimidated and also attempted to assault the petitioner. Therefore, he gave a complaint on 09.08.2022, to take action against the third respondent and also to provide police protection, but the respondent police has not taken any action. Hence, the petitioner filed the present petition.

3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that on receipt of complaint, CSR No.1098 of 2022 was issued and enquiry is pending.
4.In view of the same, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 09.08.2022 in CSR No.1098 of 2022 and take suitable action on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
