ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner, who is the administrator and other executive committee members of Peraiyur Maravar Pothu Uravinmurai in the light of order passed by the SubDivisional Magistrate/Revenue Divisional Officer, Usilampatti, vide https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P(MD)No.18220 of 2021 proceedings in Na.Ka.No.3101/2020/A2, dated 22.06.2021 by considering the representation lastly given by the petitioner on 14.08.2021.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that as per the order passed by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate/Revenue Divisional Officer, Usilampatti, the Tahsildar, Usilampatti, by communication, dated 06.12.2021 revealed that the Thevar Marriage Hall administered as per the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer and as such, police protection sought for in this Writ Petition cannot be granted.
3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is devoid of merits and the same is dismissed. No costs.
