Mr.K.K.Udayakumar, learned counsel for the Government, takes notice for the respondent.

2. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the Government appearing for the respondent.

4. The petitioner herein, who has been working as Nurse Superintendent Grade-II at Government Hospital, Sengottai, is stated to have submitted a representation before the respondents on 20.05.2026 requesting for transfer to Palayamkottai Siddha College and Hospital in order to have better treatment for her husband, who has been suffering from heart problem. As the said writ petition has not been considered by the respondent till date, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.

5. Learned counsel for the Government appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent can consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on its own merits.

6. In the circumstances, without going into the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 20.05.2026 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
