Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent Nos.5 to 7 for effect of illegal name transfer of the ownership of the four wheeler Innova Vehicle bearing Reg.No.TN58BD 7823 by manipulating and creating forged documents of the deceased petitioner father namely Muthuraja in the light of the orders of the 4th respondent dated 05.05.2025 by considering his complaint dated 04.06.2025 and 26.06.2025. ORDER

The petitioner has lodged a complaint that by creating a forged document, the Car bearing Reg.No.TN58BD 7823 which stands in the name of his deceased father, has been transferred by the accused and also filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent Police to register his complaint dated 04.06.2025 and take action against the accused.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that based on the petitioner's complaint, the Regional Transport Authority has 2/5

taken action and cancelled the entries made in the RC book. However, the respondent Police has not taken any steps to register the petitioner's complaint.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that on the very same facts, the petitioner has also lodged a complaint before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Madurai in Cr.M.P.No.671 of 2025 and the same was forwarded by the learned Judicial Magistrate for enquiry. Now, they are processing on the said complaint and they would take further course of action within one week.
