ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to issue patta in his name in respect of the property situated in survey No.199 with an extent of 4.50 cents, in Kandasamypuram, Tiruchendur Taluk, Thoothukudi District, by considering the sale deed in the name of the petitioner dated 18.11.2024 and his representation dated 28.03.2025.

2. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the property mentioned by the petitioner in Survey No.199, is not available in the Village Natham account. Further it is stated that a criminal case is filed in Crime No.979 of 2024 on the file of the Arumuganeri Police Station, pertains to bogus registration in respect of the above mentioned survey number.

3. If the respondent has got any objection with regard to the request of the petitioner for issuance of patta his name, it is for the

respondent to consider the representation and communicate his order to the petitioner in a written form.

4. Therefore, the respondent is directed to consider the representation and communicate his order to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
