ORDER

This Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent and learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the second respondent.

2. The petitioner has approached this Court to direct the first respondent to return petitioner's driving licence bearing D.L.No.TN 45-19860004521.

3. It appears that the petitioner has also been issued with Show Cause-cumHearing Notice pursuant to the FIR registered against the petitioner in Crime No. 116 of 2025, dated 11.06.2025, for the offences under Sections 281, 103 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, for which the petitioner has replied on 16.06.2025.

4. Since Show Cause Notice has also been issued on 13.06.2025 to the 2/4

petitioner, pursuant to which the petitioner has replied on 16.06.2025, this Court directs the respondents to complete the adjudication proceedings within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending such exercise, the licence of the petitioner shall be returned.
