2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the defacto complainant that even after registration of the First Information Report on 10.07.2023, no substantial progress in the investigation and therefore sought for issuance of a suitable direction for completion of investigation earlier.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that so far two witnesses were examined and reported that they will complete the investigation and file a final report shortly.

4. The statement of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) is recorded. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report under Section 173 of Cr.P.C., within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
