ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issued Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of petitioner and his principal/Mrs. Thirugnanasoundari for entering into the premises on the strength of the order made in SLP No.2989/2020 dated 24.10.2022 by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, thereby affirming the rights conclusively, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.04.2026.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had sent a representation seeking police protection from 1st and 2nd respondents for entering into the premises. However, no proper action was taken, and therefore, this petition was filed. 2/5

3. Learned Government Advocate submitted that petitioner's representation has been received and enquiry is pending on his representation.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and carefully perused the materials before this Court. Since no adverse order is proposed to be passed against the third respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, the second respondent police is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.04.2026 and conduct an enquiry in this regard, after issuing summons to the parties concerned, under Section 64 of the BNSS, in the light of SLP No.2989/2020 dated 24.10.2022 by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and conclude the same, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and provide police protection on payment of necessary charges in terms of G.O(Ms)No.139, Home (Pol-VIII) Department, dated 04.03.2019.
