ORDER

The petitioner with an allegation that the respondent police is harassing him under the guise of an enquiry has approached this Court. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the wife of the petitioner has lodged a complaint in the month of March, 2025 and it was closed by the respondent Police. Thereafter, once again another complaint has been lodged as against the petitioner, based on which, the respondent Police is harassing the petitioner again and again. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the official respondent submits that it is true that the petitioner's wife has lodged a complaint in the month of March, 2025, based on which, petition enquiry in CSR.No.118 of 2025. They have advised the petitioner to join with his wife and closed the same on 28.03.2025.

Thereafter, the petitioner's wife has lodged another complaint before the first respondent on 03.06.2025 and the same has been forwarded for enquiry before the second respondent Police. Further, he submits that since it is a matrimonial dispute, they are intending to refer the complaint to the Social Welfare Officer.

4.Considering the fact that it is a matrimonial dispute, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Social Welfare Officer and cooperate for the enquiry. The respondent Police is directed to take further course of action, based on the report of the Social Welfare Officer and the respondent Police shall not harass the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is closed.
