Confdl No.37/2026 dated 15.03.2026 in detaining the detenue under Section 2(f) of the Tamilnadu Act 14 of 1982 as "Drug Offender" and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue, Kaleeswaren, s/o. Sankar Ganesh, male, aged 28 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District before this Court and set him at liberty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for State of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side), by producing the proceeding in G.O.Rt.No.2600, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XII) Department, dated 27.04.2026 submitted that the detention order has already been revoked. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
