ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to issue the legal heir certificate of the petitioner's grandmother namely Alagammai wife of Subbiyah was died on 15.05.1974 on the basis of the representations dated 24.03.2025 and 21.06.2025.
2. The petitioner has submitted a representation for issuance of legal heirship certificate in his name and his deceased mother's name after the death of his grandmother,namely, Alagammai, who is said to have died on 15.05.1974. It is submitted that the petitioner's mother, namely, Meenakshi was the sole surviving legal heir of his grandmother, who also died on 12.06.2002. In these circumstances, the petitioner has sent a representation to the first respondent for issuance of legal heir certificate of the petitioner's grandmother.

3. One Ramachandran, S/o.Velu, represented by Mr.J.Prabhu, learned counsel intervenes and submits that the said Ramachandran is also the legal heir of the late Alagammai and therefore, the legal heir certificate should be issued incorporating the name of the said Ramachandran.
4. Considering the above submissions, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 24.03.2025 and 21.06.2025 after getting a report from the third respondent and after hearing the said Ramachandran, S/o.Velu. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
