This petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioners on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner in person on 12.07.2019 and 26.08.2019 respectively.

2.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) submitted that the petitioner as well as the 4th respondent lodged complaints and after receipt of the same, the respondents found that there are dispute between the petitioner and the 4th respondent in respect of their property. Therefore, both the complaints were referred to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thanjavur, who in turn, initiated proceedings under Section 145 of Cr.P.C. and it is pending. 3.Considering the above submissions, this Court feel that since there are civil dispute between the petitioner and the 4th respondent, in which the 3rd respondent has no role to play. Therefore, the 3rd respondent is directed not to interfere with the civil dispute between the petitioner and the 4th respondent in future.
4.The petitioner and the 4th respondent are directed to appear before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thanjavur in the proceedings initiated under Section 145 of Cr.P.C., who shall complete the proceedings, within a period of four weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner and the 4th respondent. 5.With the above direction, this petition is disposed of.
