This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth and fifth respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.06.2025, in connection with the proceedings issued by the fourth respondent vide O.Mu.No.3738/2025/E3 dated 19.06.2025, and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, Page No. 2 of 5
within the time stipulated by this Court. The petitioner also seeks permission for himself and his family members to pay 'vari' for the ensuing Kumbabishekam function of Sri Venthiamman, along with the Arasumagan Temple, scheduled to be held on 07.07.2025, and to participate in the said Kumbabishekam function.
2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first and fourth respondents submits that the petitioner's representation dated 05.06.2025, seeking permission for payment of 'vari' (tax) in connection with the Kumbabishekam of Sri Venthiamman and Sri Arasumagan Temple, A.Thekkur, Thirupathur Taluk, Sivagangai District, that is proposed to be held on 07.07.2025, will be considered and disposed of by the fifth respondent by tomorrow, i.e., 03.07.2025. The petitioner is directed to appear before the fifth respondent tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.
3. Recording the above statement, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
