The prayer in the writ petition is to direct the first respondent to ensure the life and property of the petitioner as per Rule 20(2) of Tamil Nadu Maintenance and Welfare of parents and Senior Citizen Rules, 2009 on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 07.06.2023.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing on either side submitted that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and thereby no further order is required to be passed in this petition.

3. In view of the same, the Writ Petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
