ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to cancel the family card No. 24/G/0838 493 which was transferred without the petitioner's knowledge from his residential place at Madurai and issue a fresh family card by linking it with his mother's family card, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 11.12.2023.

2. The petitioner and the third respondent are husband and wife. Admittedly, there is a family dispute between them. The third respondent without the knowledge of the petitioner has transferred the family Card from Madurai to Thiruppur. The petitioner would be entitled to a separate family card, if his name is deleted from the original family card. However, the third respondent is not cooperating with the process.

Therefore, the second respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry after issuing notice to both the petitioner and the third respondent and thereafter, pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondent shall consider the petitioner's case sympathetically.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
