ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 not to permit the respondents 5 and 6 to conduct Aadi 28 festival on 13.08.2022 or on any other subsequent date at Door No. 1A, Neduntheru Last, Melur Road, Srirangam, Tiruchirappalli 620 006, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 01.08.2022. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police may be directed not to grant permission for conducting the 2/4

said festival on 13.08.2022 or on any other subsequent date. 3.In view of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court is of the opinion that granting permission for conducting the programme or not is upto the decision of the respondent police. Therefore, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
