ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service as Sanitary Worker and to disburse all service benefits from 01.01.1980 to September, 2018. 1/3
2.By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that with the relief sought for in the prayer, though the petitioner has made a representation, dated 01.12.2018 to the respondents, so far no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court seeking appropriate relief.
4.In reply, Mr.K.P.Narayanakumar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would fairly submit that the petitioner's representation, dated 01.12.2018 will be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks.
5.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- the 1st respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 01.12.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
