(Order of the Court was made by S.S.SUNDAR, J.) This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to dispose the Petitioner's Appeal dated 19.10.2020, within a stipulated time. 2.
Heard Mr.M.V.Santharaman, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1, 2 & 4 and Mr.S.P.Maharajan, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents 3 & 5. By consent of both 2/4
parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner either in the writ petition or in the petitioner's appeal, which was stated to have been filed under Section 80A of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the and dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 19.10.2020, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
