Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent to furnish the copy of the complaint against the Petitioner enabling him to participate in the Enquiry Committee.

ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking for the issue of writ of mandamus, to direct the respondent to furnish a copy of the complaint against the petitioner enabling him to participate in the Enquiry Committee.

2.According to the petitioner, he was served with a communication by the first respondent dated 29.02.2016 stating that there was a complaint against the petitioner from the students for which the petitioner was called for enquiry before the Committee constituted for that purpose. The petitioner received the said communication on 29.02.2016 without the copy of the complaint being attached. The enquiry is fixed today i.e. on 08.03.2016 at about 3.00 p.m. The petitioner also had made a request for the copy of the complaint before attending the enquiry which has not been heeded to by the respondents. Therefore, the above said writ petition has been filed.

3.As the said request of the petitioner is genuine, the respondent shall furnish a copy of the complaint and postpone the date of enquiry to any other suitable date as expeditiously as possible. 4.With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
