O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 2 to 3 to survey the petitioner's land in Survey No.806 to an extent of 1 acre 27 cents situated at Atchampati Vllage, Manur Taluk, Tenkasi District in order to fix the boundaries by considering the petitioner's online application dated 23.03.2026.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner claims right over the property in Survey No. 806, measuring an extent of 1 acre and 87 cents, situated at Atchampatti Village, Manur Taluk, Tenkasi District. The said property was purchased by the petitioner on 07.01.2022, vide Document No. 71 of 2022, from one Ganapathy, and the patta was subsequently mutated in Patta No. 2961. It was further submitted that the petitioner had sold an extent of 60 cents to a third party, and is presently in possession and enjoyment of the 2/6

remaining extent of 1 acre and 27 cents. The petitioner is now seeking to have the said property surveyed and demarcated.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the State/respondents.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to conduct the survey and demarcate the property with the assistance of the 3rd respondent after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the rival claimants if any. If necessary, seek police protection, the Jurisdictional police shall provide police protection to survey the land. In case the petitioner seeks to install the boundary stone, the same may be provided at the cost of the petitioner. The Court is also directing the Official respondents to adhere to the following Standard Operating Procedures:

a. The Official respondents shall issue notice to the petitioner immediately reaching the spot where survey is to be conducted. The petitioner shall affix the signature by receiving the notice of survey.

b. After survey again the petitioner shall affix signature indicating that the survey was conducted to their satisfaction.

c. If the petitioner is not satisfied, then also the petitioner shall affix signature indicating their dissatisfaction or with protest. The petitioner shall indicate that reason of their dissatisfaction or protest. The aforesaid procedure shall be strictly followed by the parties. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
