O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed directing the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on a representation given by respondent Nos.3 to 6.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is an on-line trader, in which, respondent Nos.3 to 6 have invested about twenty lakhs and in which, the petitioner has been paying the interest regularly to them, however on account of Covid-19, the petitioner sustained loss and thereby, committed default for payment of interest. The respondent Nos.3 to 6 have filed a complaint against the petitioner in respect of money transaction and basing on which, the respondent Nos.1 and 2 have been harassing the petitioner and hence, he sought for suitable directions.

Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing on behalf of the State submits that respondent Nos.3 to 6 have not filed any complaint either oral or in writing and respondent Nos.1 and 2 Police have never called the petitioner at any time in respect of the enquiry of money transaction between the petitioner and respondent Nos.3 to 6. 2/4

Since learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that there is no harassment at all and there was no complaint against the petitioner, the same is recorded and thereby, the petition is liable to be closed. However, it is to be noted that in case, if any complaint is received by respondent Nos.1 and 2 Police from respondent Nos.3 to 6, the respondent Police are directed to follow the procedures strictly and issue summons to the petitioner and dispose of the representation.
