Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to approve the petitioner's appointment from 15.11.2018 as B.T. Assistant (History) in the fourth respondent Higher Secondary Aided School within a time period fixed by this Court based on the orders passed by the Honble Administrators of the CSI Diocese of Tirunelveli (TDTA), dated 24.01.2020. ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed by a B.T Assistant (History) Teacher appointed in the fourth respondent School seeking a Mandamus directing the third respondent to approve her appointment with effect from 15.11.2018.
2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, she was appointed as a B.T Assistant (History) Teacher in the fourth respondent School on 24.07.2017 and the post was upgraded in the Secondary Grade 2/5
Teacher vacancy only on 15.11.2018. The second respondent has not yet considered the letter forwarded by the fourth respondent for approval. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. In view of the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the request of the third respondent School for approving the appointment of the writ petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above said observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
