Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a writ of Mandamus or any other Writ or direction or order in the nature of writ a.To remove the water hyacinth (Agayathamarai) on the Vaigai river and the water tanks in the State of Tamilnadu in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court. 1/3
b. To ascertain the cause of toxic from arises from the Sellur water tank, Madurai City and conduct proper investigation in accordance with law and take action against the persons or institutions who are responsible for the formation of toxic foam in Sellur water tank, Madurai city within the time stipulated by this Honourable Court.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) In continuation with the earlier order passed, the learned Special Government Pleader has produced the records from the Pollution Control Board and Photographs, to show that there is no mixing of polluted water and that water hyacinth, which was in existence, has been removed.
2. Though the learned Counsel for the petitioner states that it has not been removed in entirety, on going through the records produced, we are satisfied that, at least, substantially, it has been removed. However, if the remaining part of the river requires removal, the same also will have to be removed completely, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
