PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent herein to provide police protection to the petitioner for the criminal intimidation posed by the fourth respondent from enjoying the properties comprised in Municipality 3rd Ward in Old S.No.80/1, Ward-C, Block-8, T.S.No.25/1B situated at Layets Road, Kodaikanal Town, Dindigul District having extent of 1 Acre 34 cents on the basis of petitioner representation, dated 15.11.2020 and as per the order passed in O.S.No.30 of 2018 in E.P.No.1 of 2019 on the file of Fast Track and Mahila Court, Dindigul.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the third respondent herein, to provide police protection to the petitioner, on the ground that the fourth respondent is trying to trespass into the petitioner's property, situated in Municipality 3rd Ward in Old S.No.80/1, Ward-C, Block-8, T.S.No.25/1B situated at Layets Road, Kodaikanal Town, Dindigul District. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.18843 of 2020 2.Perused the entire allegation. It appears that it is purely a civil dispute, which is given a criminal color in this writ petition. Hence, no police protection can be issued by this Court. If any trespass is made, the remedy lies elsewhere and not before this Court.
