This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.356 of 2021 on the file 1/4

of the second respondent police.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.356 of 2021, which was registered against the accused persons, for the offences punishable under Sections 306 of IPC and 3, 4 of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after lapse of one year, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition. 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) seeks two months time to complete the investigation and file a final report.
