ORDER
The petitioner has lodged a complaint dated 22.06.2024, before the respondent Police and the same was registered in Crime No.39 of 2024 on 22.06.2024 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(2) IPC against four persons. The petitioner has now approached this Court seeking a direction to conclude the investigation in Crime No.39 of 2024 within a stipulated time.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the accused persons are threatening him to withdraw the complaint and therefore, he has filed this petition.
3. The statute itself has prescribed certain time limit for completing the investigation and in this case, the statutory period is not yet over. Apart from that, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition on the ground that the petitioner has been compelled to withdraw the case. If the accused persons are threatening to 2/4
withdraw the complaint, it is always open to the petitioner to address the issue before the concerned respondent Police.
